Drs. R. Tewari, Managing Partner/CEO
Mr. Tewari is CEO of Mahler Fund Management B.V. , Former CEO of Cordares Capital Care Services, the then 4th pension administrator in the Netherlands, with assets under management of over 24 billion euros (since 2008 part of the APG Group). Previously, he worked in various positions in the financial sector at Achmea Pensions, Achmea Holding, Eureko, Delta Lloyd, and DCE Consultants. He studied at Hindu College, (Delhi), University Faculties Saint Ignatius Antwerp, Universities of Leiden, Amsterdam and INSEAD. He pursued several postgraduate studies in Property Management, Corporate Finance, Management & Financial Accounting and Fund Management. He is also the former chairman of the India Steering Committee of the Holland Financial Centre and former advisor to IFCI Venture Capital in India. He also serves as chairman of Indo European Food Park Pvt. Ltd., focused on Food Security investments in India. In 2009 he co-founded the IXL Group with other investors and acquired a stake in the 5th oldest bank in Germany, Bankverein Werthe. The IXL group became a fundament for many spinoffs of the IXL companies internationally. In 2011 he established Mahler Funds together with a group of investors and launched the Mahler India Growth Fund which received recognition for its high returns for investors in the Dutch retail fund market. Finally, he is a member of the International Executive Council of the Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) and former VP Europe of this organisation. In this capacity he has been involved in policy advice to the Government of India in various fields relating to the Diaspora. In 2011 he even received the Empire India Award from the Indian government for its commitment to strengthen ties between the Diaspora and India. In 2016 he received the Ratna Award from the State Government of Uttar Pradesh (India) for his lobbying work in the Netherlands to strengthen trade ties. He served as the chairman of the Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade (NICCT) and was appointed as Director and member of the board of the Europe India Chamber of Commerce (EICC) in 2018 & heads the Indo-European Forum in Brussel. He also heads the India Investors Club in the Netherlands, a special interest group for investors only. Ms. Monika Yadav Director IEFP India (Indore) Ms. Yadav comes from “the farm"! After graduation in commerce & marketing at the University of Bhopal, she entered the work of journalism and moved to the hospitality industry. She has been working for years in the hospitality industry on procurement, guest management and events and has developed an important network in B2B, Government contacts and local Farmer interest groups such as FPO/FPC's because of her farming family background. She has started in our venture IEFP India her capacity of Marketing & Communication Manager and currently responsible for the Marketing Communications & Investor relations in India. She is coordinating the local activities for the launch of the IEFP Agritech Trading app (Indore) en relationships with the Farmer’s cooperatives. Ms. Siham Aazouzi, Business Analyst & Project Leader Educated in Pharmaceuticals & Business Administration, Siham worked for 7 years in different sectors but longest in the pharmaceutical industry. Since then she is focused on startups and corporate responsibility projects. Within Mahler she is an associate for the Analysis and Projects pipeline of Mahler on cross border activities. Because of her passion to contribute to a better income for the less privileged she is also founder of a NGO called International Food Waste Organisation focused on achieving income enhancement for poor farmers. She was inspired by the various activities focused on Food Waste and Food Security but noticed that most of these activities have a sole profit focus. She wants to uplfit the status of the agricultural and related population with better training and development so they can become more empowered to profit from their own quality produce. Advisory Board Sanjay Sinha Mr. Sinha has a substantial track record in senior positions in investment management in India with 21 years experience in asset management, primarily in the structuring and management of investment funds He is the former Chief Executive Officer of L & T Asset Management, and was responsible for a portfolio of $ 1 billion in assets under management. Sanjay kept active management in various parts of asset management - product development, sales, marketing, and management of various funds. He is also former Chief Investment Officer of SBI Funds Management, accounting for nearly 8 billion assets under management in various financial instruments and structured funds. Previously, he was Vice President of UTI and managed as a senior fund manager nine investment funds. Under his reign at SBI Mutual Fund, one has 34 prizes in 3 years (2005-2008) won for best fund performance. Sanjay Sinha then joined DBS Chola Asset Management, which was then taken over by the L & T Group. Currently, Mr. Sinha also works as director of Citrus Advisors. He obtained his academic qualifications in Economics from the universities of Delhi and Calcutta. Dr. Hira Sadhak Dr. Sadhak, the former Chief Executive Officer LIC Pension Fund, the largest Indian Pension Fund. Under his leadership won LIC 6 ICRA awards and 1 Morningstar Fund Award. Mr Sadhak has had many important management positions in the pension, insurance and investment sectors. He also served as executive director of LIC India, the largest Indian insurer, then as general manager of LIC Mutual Fund and previously as investment officer for Union Bank. Dr. Sadhak received his PhD degree in industrial finance at the University of Poona, in addition to his masters and bachelors in economics. He also held the position of Independent Director of MDC, Mumbai Life Insurance Corporation of India, is also involved as a consultant at PWC India and Professor of Economics. Finally, he speaks frequently as an expert in the field of Risk management, Ageing and Pensions. |
